When we launched the festival in 2007, Fort Greene Fest was hailed as the ‘Art, Soul, and Future of Brooklyn.’ The Fort Greene Festival’s mission is to celebrate the cultures, cuisine, and artistic diversity of Brooklyn. I was the Executive Assistant to the Festival Director responsible for coordinating bookings, promotions, AV documentation, media, and event logistics.
